Handover Hero is a family-owned company led by husband and wife team David and Shelley Firth. They successfully built the business in 2018, originally named Firth Co Construction. It has since evolved into Handover Hero, delivering peace of mind and ensuring high-quality homes for all their customers.
David is an industry professional with over 20 years of residential construction experience. He began his career working for Australia’s largest and most regarded builders. Over his career, he’s held senior roles in residential construction based in Estimating, Site Supervision, Project Management, Quality Assurance & Business Management. Throughout these roles, he discovered that the crucial aspect of building a home was the customer’s experience.
David is a QBCC Licenced Building Inspector, a registered Master Inspector, and a member of Master Builders Queensland. He takes pride in maintaining a professional, independent view at every Inspection he completes.
Shelley has a great understanding of the customer experience and the importance of integrity and reliability when dealing with customers. Before Handover Hero, she held roles in Building Approval lodgement, Contracts Administration, Estimating and Management for a high-volume residential builder. She now oversees Handover Hero Operations and bookings.
